The 2010 Billabong Pro is taking place in Jeffrey’s Bay – 15th to 25th July

The 2010 Billabong Pro Surfing event is around the corner and will take place in Jeffrey’s Bay South Africa from the 15th to the 25th of July, 2010. The Billabong Pro is South Africa’s premier surfing event as we host the Top 41 WCT surfers from around the globe. This global surfing spectacular starts and finishes at the infamous Supertubes pointbreak in the Eastern Cape coastal town of Jeffrey’s Bay – affectionately referred to by surfing pilgrims as Jeffrey’s and J-Bay. It’s one of ten stops on what is now known as the Dream Tour and is widely regarded as one of the best right-hand surfing breaks in the world.

The Billabong Pro has always been big on the South African and global surfing calendar and promises not to disappoint in 2010. If you’re planning to be in town for the Billabong Pro this year then you can look forward to rubbing shoulders with your surfing heroes as they take to the long, peeling rights of Supertubes; and hopefully catching some waves of your own.
